![]() ![]() The doodling team has now expanded to a team of talented illustrators and engineers who work together to come up with the most creative doodles. The demand for doodles has risen with time in the U.S. In the beginning, the doodles were mainly celebrating familiar holidays but with time they became much more inclusive of the events worldwide. This doodle produced by Dennis was so well received by the people that he was appointed Google’s chief doodler and then more and more doodles started showing up on the Google homepage. Sergey and Larry asked Dennis Hwang, who was an intern at the time to produce a doodle for Bastille Day, in the year 2000. Google made a rather simple doodle at first but the idea of altering the company logo to celebrate the notable events was born with it. The founders of Google, Larry and Sergey made changes with the corporate logo to indicate their attendance at the Burning Man festival in the Nevada desert in 1998, before the company was even incorporated. There are some creative alterations that are made to the Google logo to commemorate holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of famous pioneers, artists, and scientists, these are called Google Doodles.
